Process:
An onsite visit with you will allow me to get a feeling of what it is you want your garden to do for you. Initially I need to understand your needs, budget, and what kind of time-frame you are hoping for. The ideas and layout of your space occurs over the next few days as the information is manipulated in my mind.
Then depending on the scope of the project a few different approaches can be taken:
Sketches... Rough Pencil Drawings either 'plan view' or 3-dimensional, depending on what will give the best information.
Drawings... Scaled drawings in plan view that measurements can be taken from for estimating costs.
Computer Layouts... Scaled drawings done in AutoCAD which allows for a 3-dimensional view to be generated. This can also be combined with photographs to give a full colour visual walk through.
Once a design has been finalized it is yours to use, to get quotes from contractors or to build it yourself. I could also give a contract price or supervise the construction as a Project Manager.
